  1. Install Root Enumerated Driver Live Suite

Hi there,There have been a lot of issues and concerns regarding getting the Livesuit software and drivers.I am creating this thread in an attempt to consolidate as many various driver installation as I can.Hopefully 1 or more of them will work for those users having trouble. If you find one that does work, please post which one so we can start a Heiarchy of successful drivers. Thanks!TasselhofLivesuit Software Install and USBTreiber driver files:Livesuit Software Install15.6MB 13716 downloadsRun the Livesuit executable in a new folder you create. (as it just extracts files wherever the EXE is located at)After the files are extracted try to run these files:drvinstallerIA64.exedrvinstallerX64.exedrvinstallerX86.exeNow try to run livesuit and see if you still get the driver error.Every Driver File/Pack I could find on my PC:11.66MB 6668 downloadsEdited by MrTasselhof, 27 April 2012 - 11:05 AM.

I believe the ones that comes with LiveSuite 1.07 should work for Gemei G9.Let me clear up some misconceptions since I had been there, confused and finally see the light. The instruction that you should run the unpacker to unpack Livesuite which it will install the driver is CORRECT.If you run Livesuite and it complains no driver, you got to run the other EXE file instead. After installing the driver, you should have a strange driver with a YELLOW TRIANGLE. This is CORRECT. Do no change it, fix it or otherwise.Next, you go through the selection, open your firmware etc.Hold power to shut down your G9 completely.Hold Vol+ (according to GemeiTech, any button will do) and plugin USB to (NON-HOST) port.Press power 6-10x. For me it always 'ting' on 6.You will see that a new device is detected and it IS the strange device driver you had installed.

It changes from yellow triangle to being recognized and your Livesuite will start to kick in and prompt your to format/flash etc.I hope the desc above clarify some doubts. I have been racking my brain over this for the last few days and finally got it working correctly. It allowed me to flash my firmware update for my ampe a10.

I tried downloading livesuite again and the latest software for ployer momo11 bird 20120522 4.0 Android but still nothing is happening when i press the volume + and then power button 10 times. Am i doing this wrong?step 1: i keep hold of the volume + button, step2: plug usb cable into my tablet, step3: press power button 10 times and wait? Nothing is happening.Hello! For me, it's the '-' volume button (then plug the usb cable then press at least 6 times the power on button). Of course, Livesuit must be launch, the rom loaded and waiting for flashing!Oh! And is it the 'host' usb port or the other one?

(for my G9, it's the 'normal' one, not port named 'host' )Courage! There are problems of RAM and hardisk with a lot of Gemei G9.You have to try to flash your tablet with the same firmware until it's boot! Each time it's freeze on the logo, try to flash again in upgrade mode! Thanks for your response. I ve flashed more than 20 times the eken 90 firmware without boot success! A rom that it used to work fine im my tablet. Do u have any alternative solution to suggest me cos my patient is running sort with this damn chinese evil???!!!edit- i finally managed to flash gingerbread 2.3. None of the ics worked.

GB seems to work fine. I will keep it till i feel lucky and try ics again!thanks for your helpEdited by turmstrasser, 20 June 2012 - 04:43 AM. Hi there!Hey!

I've got the same issue. I've been flashing during many nights and with many firmwares. Nothing's working yet! Just Gingerbread is booting.I'm always searching for resolving this! But, 'good' to see that i'm not alone in this mess! (I thought that i was really cursed!) (Or maybe, we are all cursed by this G9!

)good news.i noticed there are two different versions of the EKEN 90 firmware. All this time i was trying with that: '9.7A10 03F2-P1-H1-H01-AH0.img'.today i tried with this newer one 'A104.0.30511.img'and it worked (after only. Three boots with the power cable connected).i also used a different version of Mr T 'script, the one with the option #3: enable market. The one i used before has NOTHING in option # 3.so, after flashing, i root with mr T'script. Then i used Jalhoucine Script to tweak Cpu Clock and finally i run mr t' script again to replace build.pro file. Tonight i'll check the internet experience.

So far, tablet seems to boot with no freezing or the assistance of the power cord. Some things i need to fix are the screen orientation, sensor probably needs calibration and to find a way to make icons a bit smaller. On Windows Home Premium 7 x64i am trying to follow the Rikomagic guide found here:viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11but i can't seem to get past step 11.first of all. I have downloaded the LiveSuit 64-bit Windows.rar file, unpacked it. And when pressing the LiveSuit.exe file. I am told that drivers are missing, program will close. If i click on 'LiveSuitPack105english' i can then open LiveSuit.exe.

The rest of the steps goes smoothly. Until i have to choose the 'UsbDriver'.my computer then prompts this error message:Also when i open LiveSuit. At the buttom it says'Jump to update mode failed'i am not sure if that has any importance or not.i am trying to flash the modded firmware to use with Droidmote. But i am stuck at this crucial point of it not finding the drivers.i have runned LiveSUit as admin, made sure i got the x64 version, uninstalled the 'unknown device' from the Device Manager, i have followed the guide to the letter, but i really need help getting past this point.i am up to holding down the reset button with a toothpick for 2 minutes. And i have tried with 2 seconds, 10 seconds, until the device manager is completly finished with scanning, and up to 2 minutes.its blurry since its night time here, and my phone don't have the best camera, but for people who have ran the installation process they can see whats going on.can anyone help me please?!

Hello gurus,I have Gemei G9 4.0.3 baseband version 4.00. I followed the instructions to try to flush the ROM without any success. When I ran livesuit.exe program, and connected the USB cable as instructed, the PC only have one 'find new hardware' pop-up window.

After I installed the driver, one USB Device(VID1f3aPIDefe8) has no yellow exclamation mark, but another one has the yellow exclamation mark. I then got the 'OK' window right away. Afterward, if I tried to re-run livesuit.exe program, I got the 'OK' window right away without any 'find new hardware' prompt.I tend to think that maybe my Gemei G9 has hardware problem because when I connect it to PC with USB cable (non firmware upgrade) and Turned on the USB storage, I can only see (on the PC) files on SD memory card, but not /ROOT file system. So my question for you is: how many USB devices do you see when you connect your Gemei G9 to a PC? One or two USB devices?

When you do firmware upgrade, do you keep the power charge cable connected or not? Many thanks.freshideas needed.
