Install Doro Usb Phone Suite Manual
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nivek from A Phone good for the partially sighted Purchased this mobile phone for my mother aged 90, partially sighted for many years through Diabetises. The overall view to this phone is greatly enhanced by larger dial numbers. To have the benefit of the ICE (In Case of Emergency) facility. She has found it easy to use the mobile phone, after showing and demonstrating and making calls, she love's it. Well done Doro, for making my mother's life much more enjoyable especially to contacting family and friends that much more easier and better.
Usb Phone For Yahoo Voice
Rated 5 out of 5 by JY from One happy dad! I bought this phone for my dad who is in his late 70s and going deaf. I wanted to get him a clamshell one and had heard good things about Doro phones. It was super easy to set up. The screen is a good size and dad loves the bigger font size. Where the text or phone number is longer than the width of the screen, it will scroll slowly to show the remainder of the line entry.
Buttons are big and easy to press. Sound quality is good. I've never seen dad so happy using a mobile before - thumbs up! Rated 3 out of 5 by Dick from Nice phone, still easy to use but some areas of design seem to have regressed Just bought this phone for my 86 year old mother. Some aspects of the design have made it more difficult to use compared to her previous Doro clamshell phone: The buttons are now smaller, the back is almost impossible to take off, up down arrows on the central key are gone (now replaced with lines) and it is a two step process to turn the phone off (previously one step). The emergency button is no longer highlighted by a white surround and you need to go online for setup information on important functions like that emergency call button (many elderly people who buy this phone are not internet savvy). Finally, the mini USB plug for the charger is quite difficult for an elderly person to use.
The previous round plug was easier to connect. The phone is still a nice design and easier to use than most - just a pity that some of the factors which contributed to ease of use in the previous version seem to have been removed from this phone.
