Custom Usb Driver Installation Wizard Silabs
The AN220 documentation is updated to v6.0. It looks like the v6.15 Wizard has changed. I am customizing the CP210x 6.7 driver for Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista/XP. The Wizard now only asks during the Installer Options whether to 'Display GUI window during Install' and there are no Uninstaller Options.
So there are no longer options to set a Target directory for the install. After installing the driver I can see in Add or Remove Programs that it is labeled as 'Windows Driver Package - Company Name (silabenm) Ports ( 6.7.0.0) and I can just Uninstall it.So my question is 1) So you can no longer define a Target install directory? 2) Where does the Driver get installed to?Thanks.
