It came without instructions and when it got set to 24 hour format instead of 12 hour, it drove me crazy trying to set it back.
My watch is a WR165 (it has an EL button below the display, so I'm guessing it's an Eclipse, but that's just a guess) and the buttons are a little different that the one you've diagramed out. (The light and mode buttons are reversed). Using your instructions as a guide, I found out that if you hold down the alarm button (D) and press the mode button (A) the format changes from 12 to 24 hour.Update: If you want to contact Armitron, call Armitron at 1-800-937-0050.Posted by Peenie Wallie on September 23, 2006 at 4:26 PMComments. Hold down the mode button.if you hold it down for long enough (like ten seconds) the seconds of your current time will start to flash.use to st/stp button to move over to the hour part and then use the adj. Button to change the time.I hope this helps!Posted by: Rebekkah on October 30, 2006 at 6:30 PM. So it's time to 'FALL BACK' from daylight savings time, but how to do that with this watch? This post saved me from putting this watch in the drawer for next spring and buying a new one I could use till then.So after I changed the time, I checked out the home page for this blog.
There's a tip jar. That seems preposterous; I have a few blogs and I don't ask for tips.
But the tip I got from here to set my watch is more that worth the small tip I left in the tip jar for this blog. Thanks!!Posted by: Tony on November 3, 2007 at 5:25 PM. I opdered an Armitron 'Men's Dress Watch, Titanium (Black) Round. I have numerous high end watches; i.e Rolex, Cartier, RADO, etc; however I wanted a good 'Everyday' watch, Particularly, one that displays the day-of-the-week.
The Armitron 20/4285BLSV seemed to 'fit the bill' exactly. HOWEVER, it arrived with absolutely no instruction! I pulled up the Armitron web site and was hoping that I could download the instructions. Their page has a 'instructions' pull down, but there is no response after patiently waiting 20 minutes.

Thanks for the instructions. We just purchased the Sport Pro which doesn't come with instructions. The location of the buttons is different on this model.
The Mode button is on the bottom left, the light (EL) is at the bottom right, the Date button in the instructions corresponds to the St/Stop button and the upper left button in the instructions is the ADJ button. Still following the instructions and watching what is happening on the watch enabled me to set the time and date within five minutes. I have copied and pasted these instructions to a Word doc for future reference. Thanks again.Posted by: Teresa on January 19, 2008 at 7:56 PM.
Hi, I have a 40/6753 and here is what I found to set the watch.Adj.Start/Stop.Mode.ELPress and Hold down the MODE button until the display starts to flash that you are Adjusting the alarm. If you need to adjust the alarm here ya go:)Press the mode button again and it switches from adjusting the ALARM to adjusting the TIME.At this point the display will be flashing the seconds. Press the ADJ button and it will switch to Adjusting the Minutes. Press the AdJ button to advance the minutes.Pressing the Start/Stop will switch to Adjusting the Hour. Again pressing the ADJ button will advance the Hour until you get to the correct one.Once correct press the Start/Stop to switch to Adjusting the DATE.
Press the ADJ to advance Month and Day.Pressing the Start/Stop will finally switch to Adjusting the DAY OF THE WEEK. (little circle to the left hand side). Again, pressing the ADJ will advance the Day until correct. This took me an hour just pressing buttons until I could figure this out. I hope this helps everyone.JoePosted by: Joe From Oregon on February 4, 2008 at 9:39 PM. I have a men's red anodized 40/8108 which is supposed to be water resitant to 300ft.
I don't dive that deep with it, but I have gone as deep as 100ft, and no problems - no water leaking in. Also tend to wear it under my wetsuit (watches are not terribly helpful in scuba except in comparison with dive computer). Anyway I wanted one I didn't have to worry about (and cheap to replace if it fails) and this one holds up. Only thing I would change is the inclusion of an optical bubble to the face so it could be read easier underwater.Posted by: UTOR Diver on May 23, 2008 at 4:58 PM.
Thanks for all the help here folks. I got a Armitron 45/6915 and was just about to throw it at the wall when it woke me up at 4am (no idea who set the alarm at that time).
THank good for all you guys out there and a little bit of patience in figuring out what worked. How can a company sell watches and not have instructions that come with it? Well, I got mine off a sales rack, but I am sure this is not true for most of you.
Surprising that they have so many fans out there (us) who like the watches and are willing to go through major customer hell to get the product to work.Posted by: SwissMiss on July 3, 2008 at 11:47 AM. The alarm on my Armitron All-Sport just stopped functioning even though I still have it set to Alarm. Anybody ever experience this?
The rest of the watch still works just fine.By the way, I called both the 1-800 and the 718 number: the people at 1-800 were quite rude (twice), answered the phone without saying anything about who I had reached and sounded mad that I had bothered them, then transferred me to someone who called me Hon just basically decided to agree that it must be the battery although I don't think it is. The 718 people were more professional and said they didn't think it was the battery but said I would have to send it to them.which I don't think is cost effective at this point. I'll discard it if I must but I dislike just not using it because of that (I use it as my morning get-up alarm so I do need the alarm).

To those of you who were in need of instructions for the Armitron 40/8125 WR330 watch here it is:The following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an analog watch.' (This is the alarm time.)Press the 'MODE' button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press 'ADJ' to set them to zero.Press the 'ST/STP' button to change what you want to set. I have a problem with two men's digital Armitrons (40/8065 & 40/8106) in that they beep at 32 minutes after the hour even though the 'stop watch', and 'count down' timers are off, and no alarms are set or show anything with 32 in the setting. One of them is only a week old now. It was a clearance item so I figure it must be a way of indicating that the battery is low as the older watch was starting to loose a second or so each day. Is there anything I can do to silence that beep if it is not a low battery indicator?I did manage to get instructions mailed to me after calling the number given on their website, but there is no mention of this in them.Posted by: Art on October 20, 2009 at 10:04 AM.
It seems there are too many styles of this watch out there - after combining all of the 'helps' here is what worked for oursAdj.St/stpMode.ELPressing and holding Mode allows you to change the date/time and the alarm1. Once the time is flashing use the St/stp to advance from minutes to hours and use the Adj to increase the minutes and hours and months and days2. Pressing mode again will switch back from time to alarmPress and hold adj while pressing st/stp for chimes1. You have to toggle through to turn the hourly chime off and the alarm off2. The hourly chime is off when you don't see the word chime and on when you see the word chime3.
The alarm is off when there is only 1 line around the bell and on when there are 3 lines around the bellpress and hold adj while pressing mode for changing back and forth military time - you will see an A or P for am/pm on regular time and no letters for military timehope this helps all who have our same watch:0)Posted by: shelly on February 6, 2010 at 10:48 AM. OK, I have an Armitron Women's 457012BLK Sport Chronograph Black Resin Stainless-Steel Accent Strap Watch.
The set-up is:top left - resettop right - st/stpbottom left - modebottom right - elTo change the time, you hold down the reset button until the seconds starts to flash. Then you use the mode button to get to the hours and minutes. Once the numbers flash that you want to change, you use the st/stp button to advance the numbers. Geez, it only took me fiddling with it for a couple of hours to figure that out.Posted by: DJ on November 6, 2012 at 5:34 PM.
